Last year my wife and I formed a team to raise money while also participating in the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) WALK at Jones Beach.
We are sincerely thankful to the accounts that contributed towards our goal as we exceeded it in raising over $3,500!
This year, we plan to do even better with your help.
I have witnessed first hand the stigma attached to this illness, as many of these people have graduated from reputable schools and are holding down prestigious jobs. Yet, the country is uneducated as to what transpires with this debilitating condition.
We plan to erase that stigma and get the help that these individuals need to make our communities and nation healthier and better. Your donation is a start on the road to recovery.
